In flex printing, the design is printed using a thin foil from which the respective design—consisting of specific, suitable colors—is cut out. This foil is then pressed onto the respective textile product under high pressure and temperature using a heat press.

Minimum Requirements for Flex Printing (File Handling)

• Image resolution of at least 300 dpi
• Only transparent backgrounds and no semi-transparencies
• Line thickness of at least 1 mm

Advantages

• High opacity
• Brilliant colors
• Durable and long-lasting

Disadvantages

• No color gradients possible
• Picture designs are not feasible (DTF is suitable for images)
