What is Flex Printing?
In flex printing, the design is printed using a thin foil from which the respective design—consisting of specific, suitable colors—is cut out. This foil is then pressed onto the respective textile product under high pressure and temperature using a heat press.
Minimum Requirements for Flex Printing (File Handling)
- Image resolution of at least 300 dpi
- Only transparent backgrounds and no semi-transparencies
- Line thickness of at least 1 mm
Advantages
- High opacity
- Brilliant colors
- Durable and long-lasting
Disadvantages
- No color gradients possible
- Picture designs are not feasible (DTF is suitable for images)
