What is Digital Printing (DTG)?
In digital printing (direct printing – DTG = Direct to Garment), special printing ink is sprayed directly onto the product. During the drying process, the ink bonds with the fibers of the shirt. Since no film is used, the result is a soft and very comfortable feel.
Unlike transfer printing, there is no background or frame around the design. With all printing colors available, multicolored designs and gradients are possible.
This printing method is mostly used for designs uploaded by our customers. However, due to the varying properties of textiles, we cannot offer this printing method for all fabrics.
Minimum Requirements for DTG (File Handling)
- Image resolution of at least 300 dpi
Advantages
- Supports images and color gradients
- Comfortable to wear
- Long-lasting
Disadvantages
- Applicable only to textiles
